Now we are going to look at the second and third conjugations (ie. verbs that end in ‘er’ and ‘ir’). The principle is the same as for first conjugation (‘ar’) verbs – the pattern for each is the same for all regular verbs of the same conjugation. Take a few minutes (or hours!) trying to memorise the endings for each type of verb.
